Blacklight: Tango Down is a fast-paced, downloadable firstperson shooter for the PC, PlayStation 3 (PSN) and Xbox 360 (LIVE) based in a new fictional universe called Blacklight. Utilizing the cutting-edge graphical power of Unreal Engine 3, Blacklight: Tango Down’s near-future setting is brought to life with disturbingly detailed and old-world architecture dripping with modern sci-fi lighting and brightly lit advertisements, an effect that causes each environment to appear both futuristically alien as well as hauntingly familiar. www.playtangodown.com Please don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE to www.youtube.com – Rapid firing the latest game news, trailers, screens and art that true players don’t wanna miss out on.

Classic Game Room HD reviews DEFENDER (again!), this time for the Playstation 1 video game console, or PSX, PSone, PS1, etc…. This is from the Williams Greatest Arcade Hits collection which also includes arcade emulated copies of Robotron 2084, Joust, Sinistar, Bubbles and Defender 1 and 2!! Digital Eclipse was involved with this version (you should know them from the Xbox Live Arcade games on XBLA). Defender was released in 1980 in the arcades and is regarded as one of the best horizontal scrolling space ship shooters ever created. Designed by Eugene Jarvis, Defender pits you and your spaceship against countless enemy foes, landers, swarmers and pods who are kidnapping humans and turning them into mutants. If you want to play Defender but don’t have an arcade stand up machine this may be the best and most affordable way to do so, as soon in this CGRHD review! Classic Game Room reviews the best in new and retro video games. If you like retro gaming reviews and old school video game reviews and reviewing then you’ll love the journalistic integrity and itchy SHMUP loving trigger finger of Classic Game Room… sucka! Coin-op classic Defender review, right here!

Rage game trailer

t rage quakecon08 ingamedirect h264 Rage is a first-person shooter and driving video game in development by id Software. It will use the company’s new id Tech 5 engine.[2] The game was announced on August 2, 2007 at QuakeCon. On the same day, a trailer for the game was released by Gametrailers.com.[3] Information available so far indicates that the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world similar to that of movies such as The Road Warrior.[4] In an interview with GameSpot, designer Tim Willits revealed that the game is set in the near future following a comet collision with the earth.[5] Influences on the driving and racing gameplay include games such as MotorStorm and Burnout, according to another Willits interview by Shacknews.[6] Players will be able to upgrade their cars with money won from races.[6] Reports indicate that id is developing Rage with a T-for-Teen rating in mind,[4] and that the Xbox 360, PC, and Mac versions will ship on 2 discs, while the PS3 version will ship on one Blu-ray Disc.[4] John Carmack told Slashdot in 2007 that there is a Linux port under development, even if it’s not yet ready for testing.[7] However, as with earlier games from the company, the Linux version will be offered as a separate download which requires the Windows disk’s maps and game data to run. On July 14, 2008, id announced its decision to partner with Electronic Arts for publication of Rage.[8] Regarding the status of the Linux port after this announcement, John Carmack
