Classic Game Room reviews SEGA MASTER SYSTEM controller
Classic Game Room reviews the SEGA MASTER SYSTEM controller for the Sega Master System video game console. This controller also works with Master System games played on the Sega Genesis (aka Mega Drive or Megadrive) with the awesome Power Base Converter. It also makes a great replacement controller for the Atari 7800 Prosystem because the controller port is identical and it uses 2 buttons. Classic Game Room brings you the best in new and retro video game reviews. If you like old school gaming accessories, consoles, joysticks and controllers then you should be watching CGRHD!

A note on the controllers being cross-compatible. You can actually use the Master System and Genesis controllers with your ColecoVision! I don’t recall for sure but I believe if you have a Genesis 6-button controller, those top gray buttons will activate the 1,2 and 3 keypad buttons from the Coleco. Otherwise you have to first start your game, and then swap the controllers.

Is it just me or are the Atari 7800, NES and SMS controllers very similar?
i have a sega master system 2!!
fuck you
I fucking love the 90s
ever play rocky on the master system?
I’d rate these Master System controllers as second only to the Playstiation’s.
They are extremely similar to the NES ones, but win out because of the plug being of a more universal (for the 80s) kind.
These things were a godsend for our joystick weary hands. You could plug them into your C64 or Atari 2600 and play in comfort.
At one time. The Master System came with joypads that gave you the option to screw in a removable stick into the joypad. The D-Pad were quite responsive, and good for games like Hang On or Outrun.
jeden z prostszych kontrolerów,mały,lekki i fajnie się nim gra
lol, basically it was an upgrade to the joystick!
My first console ever in 1993, includes SOnic!
Nice Times!!!!
the pause button is on the console self
de pauzeknop zit op de console zelf
you can also use those master system controllers on the atari 2600
because of the awsome “same-plug” design, you can use Comadore 64,ColecoVision,SegaMaster,Sega Genesis,Atari 2600 or Atari 7800 controlers to do any controler/console combinations systems that you want. This is also conveniant if you have lost any controller and you REALLY want to play.
