www.gamezplay.org – QUANTUM THEORY will be a multi platform release on the playstation 3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Both versions are scheduled to arrive in Europe in spring 2010. QUANTUM THEORY is Tecmo Koei Europes newest original IP and the companys first attempt at the third-person shooter genre. Players take on the role of the massive, gun-wielding warrior Syd and will battle through intense action sequences in an unpredictable, shape-shifting battlefield, aided by the mysterious acrobatic Filena. In addition to single player campaign, QUANTUM THEORY also supports four modes of online multiplayer, complete with voice chat for real-time communication. STORY Many years have passed since the world war inflicted catastrophic damage on the human race, leaving only a few survivors. In their new community Cocoon, life has been threatened by a black material called Erosion, creating a post-apocalyptic environment. Surviving humans recruit a militia to conquer the Erosion and set out to take down the evil, Living Tower. Arriving at the scene is the stalwart warrior Syd, whose only intentions are to destroy the Tower. He meets the beautiful and mysterious Filena as they both ascend to the top in their search for answers. The erosion of the Tower intensifies as the players climb up through the moving landform. I don’t care if it looks similar to gears of war, this might be a good alternative for those with ps3, and for those who have already gow but wants another game with a similar feeling as when they play gow.. well that’s just my opinion.. Im a big fan of Gears and I really want to play this game

You couldnt be more wrong. I’m guessing you think oh if it looks like this its that. Gears of war wasnt the first game about aliens. It wasnt the first game with take cover. I’m sure this game copied ideas from other games but what doesnt & hell I think when games copy eachother & add something new it becomes badass. Graphics dont meen shit. Voicing seems fine. & its story is nothing like GoW & is original. What games you know were towers are alive? not easy to make a game. go download Blender..

This looks like a cheap, poorly copy of gears of war. The graphics looks weak, something about the voicing seems weak also, and looks like they’re trying to mix it in with JRPG type stlye a bit? Never played JRPGS, which some look kick ass, but this seems like a sorry excuse for a copied game.

gears of war still looks like a better game. the hole final fantasy style could tip this game into the GAY side (not that theres anything wrong with that) But it doesn’t seem like it’ll be as good as GEARS. which is sad cause i love Gears. And my PS3 is the only system that doesn’t crap out on me. That lack of hype for this game usually means BUST.

I really don’t care if they copied gears or not. If it does well enough to copy what other games already do, then I don’t really mind. Im picking this up for sure.
Hmm i read some reviews from people with a little bit of time with the game say it sucked or whatever but it looks pretty sweet to me…
sweet, this looks like Final Fantasy 13 meets Gears of War, and it’s available on PS3 so i don’t need to buy Gears of War woot!

My biggest complaint with gears was the stupid run cam, you couldn’t see for shit, it looks like they’ve taken what was good with gears and made it into somthing new and hopfully improved. I’ll be giving it a go, looks interesting… And cod is getting a little worn out now, lol
if the game style is the same but there’s a different story why hate on it………this game looks awesome!!!!!!
