Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Super Sonic Racer from Team6 Studios and Zoo Games for the Nintendo Wii. Super Sonic Racer is the worst kind of Wii title. This game’s as void of content as its tracks are void of stuff and its design’s as void of ideas. It’s a rip-off of rip-offs, a clone of a Mario Kart clone…hence the strange life forms with broken-down molecular structures. You can only clone things so many times before nature revolts. The courses at least have interesting themes, though. The usual suspects like water world are there, but there’s also a garbage world, there’s a nightmare world…I like the themes quite a bit. What I like less is the execution of those themes–the graphics are poor, and the music is repetitive. Classic Game Room HD reviews SUPER GODZILLA for the Super Nintendo video game console. This Super Godzilla review for the SNES shows the gameplay footage of Super Godzilla, several of the monsters including King Ghidora (aka Monster Zero), Mechagodzilla and Biollante. This is an interesting game and licensed from Toho. It plays like part strategy game and part fighting game, although instead of traditional 2D fighting with Godzilla vs. Monsters you use a “fighting spirit”. In order to play the game properly you must learn and master this fighting spirit. CGR would rather watch Godzilla movies but that’s just us… Anyway, it’s an interesting game and a valiant effort on the Super Nintendo. Music and graphics are top notch as is the Godzilla King of the Monsters Terror of Mechagodzilla style plot. Maybe the game could have used even more flying saucers and hot Japanese scientists with nothing to lose except their lab coats but hey… maybe they’ll make that into the next game. Classic Game Room reviews SNES video games and has a collection of Super Nintendo games to review over the next several months. In Story Mode, players can fix up Greased Lightnin’ or try to win Sandy’s affections with their funky dance moves. The game features 16 memorable song compositions from the movie that include “Summer Nights,” “You’re the One That I Want” and “Greased Lightnin’.” For DS and DSi players, Grease: The Game lets players dance their way through much loved movie moments, following Sandy and Danny on their high school journey. It offers a chronological story mode featuring 10 memorable song compositions and choreographed dance steps from the movie. Players can also use the camera function of the Nintendo DSi to get in the game by uploading their face to their favourite character.
